This place sure has changed since it has changed owners. After recently having my oil changed, I didn't feel comfortable with their 'Bulk' oil. I had to take their word that it was the correct blend.
According to them, they're saving a lot of money using cheap oil in large drums, but it weighed heavy on my mind that it wasn't what I needed. So, I ended up getting my oil changed, again, at another location.
It was also very apparent that the girl working there is bothered by customers showing up. I'm not sure what she feels her job is. Complaining to one costumer that another car has pulled up is not a good look.
Never again. And that goes for not only my vehicle, but my parents 2 vehicles. If you were smart, you wouldn't go there either.

“I recently had my oil changed at G and L Lube and Oil, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. After getting home from work, I noticed a few oil drips in my driveway. I called them to address the issue, and they were incredibly understanding and responsive. They even came out to my residence to try to fix the problem right away.

Though they couldn’t fully resolve the issue on the spot (it turned out to be a cracked oil plug seal), they assured me they would take care of it at their shop the next business day. True to their word, they replaced the seal and refilled the oil completely free of charge. The owners were polite, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. I highly recommend G and L Lube and Oil for their excellent customer service and commitment to their work!”

Be aware
have been a loyal customer of GL Lube for over 10 years, but my recent experience under the new management has been extremely disappointing. Last Friday, I took my car in for a routine service, and now my engine dipstick is smoking and my engine is overheating. This has never happened before in all the years I’ve been coming here. I am very concerned about the quality of service and the apparent lack of attention to detail by the new team. I hope they address these issues soon, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning until I see significant improvements.

I have been going here since 2018. It is always been quick and fast and for the most part OK today on the other hand, the woman that does the safety inspections and helps out in the oil changes transactions. Mainly does the paperwork was in the office today with seven people lined up to get just safety inspections for 25 minutes and did not come out to let us know what was going on. I went up to the window to ask her if everything was OK and she lost her mind. Throwing her hands up in the air and yelling through the window and lock door, I was able to get the gist of what she was trying to say the systems were down and told her that I would let the other customers know what was going on. She must’ve been having a bad day, but there was no reason to act the way that she did. I will not be coming back to this place and go a little further and pay a little bit more for future services.

The only place in Killeen i go for an inspection and oil change. Mechanics are friendly, quick and efficient. The most time ive ever spent here was about 25 minutes. You dont even have to leave your car! I highly recommend this place, support the local businesses!!

G and L raised their prices for a $60 oil change to almost $80; unsatisfactory. The main reason I used to come here is the fact that I could spend less on an oil change; no more! Yes, I know these prices are standard across Killeen oil change places. I guess some lady that owns this shop is trying to squeeze this place for every $, and we are feeling the pinch. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on, or do it myself. Greedy much? My wife has a newer and larger vehicle, and paid the same as I just did.
