I was worried, like many about the reviews but I just had my car shipped from Tennessee, to California and no issues here. The broker (Pride) did originally promise, a price, and then raise that price but I believe that is more so for their own profit. I had no issues with Starway Logistic. They called to let me know they got the order and when the driver left for the pickup. My driver Zurab was amazing and kept me updated the entire time (picking up the car and dropping it off). My car got there (in the same condition it was picked up in) within four days! I had to have family handle the the pickup and drop off for me and they had no complaints.

Okay, so I booked with RoadRunner (Starway picked up the car) at the last minute and overall, everything was fine, the price I paid was actually cheaper than it would have cost me to drive. Yes, the reviews here are terrible, but I feel like it's important to know what you are paying for. Roadrunner sold the load to Starway, Starway aggregates loads, and assigns a driver. It would have been nice for Starway to give a bit more of a heads up on when the car would be picked up (it was a day late and then I got one hour's notice)

The Starway car hauler is massive. The tractor is much longer than a standard tractor trailer and that limits where they can get in. Bottom line, at pickup, we had to meet him about 4 miles from our house to drop off the car. Yes, it would have been nice to have more than 1 hour's notice that the driver was on his way, but he did wait 3 hours for me to drop off my car (which I really appreciate). They are getting 4 stars because from the moment my car was about to be picked up until it was delivered, the driver answered my texts and gave me updates. All this while the dude had to run everything through google translate. Car arrived just as I had dropped it off and in 7 days with a coast to coast transit. Getting my car was exactly the same, one hour's notice, but this time he was able to get all the way to the house. I've never shipped a car before, and based on this experience, I would ship again and I wouldn't be scared of Starway, I would just book a little earlier and make sure I understood the timelines involved.

I must say I was worried, the reviews was alarming but I just had to trust Road Runner the Broker. the price was very reasonable, enough to be scared" but I put it in God's hands. my car shipped from New York, to Florida Starway Logistic Office has very poor communication and they definitely need to work on that however, I got My driver"" Zurab"" I must say much respect to him, he was amazing and kept me updated the entire time despite having to break down stuck in South Carolina for the whole weekend, he still communicated with me showing his sympathy and assuring me as soon as his truck is fixed he will have my car home and safe. It's because of him I gave this Five stars ratings

Went through safeeds as my broker and was assigned to starway logistics. At first was super hesitant after reading the reviews. I started to worry if my car would be damaged or how long it was going to take to really get my car. Well it all was pretty much a breeze. Was picked up on time and dropped off a day later than the estimation. I had to ask for the drivers number but once I had it I could call the driver and get updated on his whereabouts which I appreciated. Overall, a great experience that put my nerves to rest.

They were scheduled to pick up my cars on a Monday and didn’t pick them up until Friday. They didn’t communicate with me about it. I had to call them everyday. On the bright side, my cars were delivered intact with no extra mileage on them. After the driver picked up the cars, he kept us in the loop and delivered only 5 days later which is pretty good for a California to New York drive. Would I use them again…? Probably not.

The issue with this shipper was communication.

1: I scheduled for 10/21 and paid extra for the date, the car was not picked up till the 24th. I had not been by contacted with the shipper and they didn’t contact me to confirm the car had been picked up and was on its way. The seller had to. They contacted the seller at the last minute to pick up the car.

2: Due to the late pick up I had to be out of town during the scheduled delivery, and had to have a substitute sign for the car in my place. As the date drew closer I still had not heard from the company and decided to call their office. I called and they said that they would have the driver text me, he never did. I then got the driver’s cell phone number from the seller of the car when I texted him he redirected me back to their office.

3: When the car did arrive, I was out of town and I had to scramble to get a person to sign for it. The carrier called when he was a half hour out and attempted to get my driver to come halfway across town to industrial Avenue and pick up the car so that he would not have to drive to my drop off location, which I paid for door-to-door service. The carrier wanted us to drive an unregistered and uninsured car halfway across Las Vegas. My driver had to tell him that he would not come down to pick up the car and that the carrier would have to come to his location. There is ample space for dropping off cars as I have had multiple cars delivered and picked up from my location.

Other than the extremely poor communication, the company transported the car just fine. It arrived in good condition. My suggestion is if you’re going to use this company just keeping your thumb on the pulse of it and know where the car is.as they will do a little as possible.

I contracted with the broker Montway LLC to transport my car from NYC to California. After the car was picked up I learned that Starway Logistic would be handling the transportation. And so the nightmare began . . .

The car was supposed to be delivered on 10/31. It wasn't actually delivered until 11/11 - eleven days late. During that time no one from Starway contacted me with updates on the status of my delivery. When I tried calling them their phone would roll to voicemail. I left messages, but my calls were never returned.

I relentlessly pestered Montway for updates, but they also had trouble reaching Starway. And when they did, the information they received was wrong. Starway committed to two different delivery dates after they missed the first one, and they didn't meet either one. And again, absolutely no updates from the on the status of the car.

I checked out Starway on the Better Business Bureau website and found that they have an 'F' rating and there with a bunch of highly negative reviews. They also have very negative reviews on other sites like Facebook and Yelp.

I have to say that shipping my car turned out to be the worst customer service experience that I've every had. Do not ship your vehicle with Starway if you can avoid it!

This company would do anything to get the bid from the broker, but cannot deliver as promised. Not only they lied, but cannot take responsibility for their lateness. Could you believed after being late for 5 days as promised, the dispatcher has the nerve to tell me she doesn't know where the truck is and tell me to call the driver myself since she was out of lies for about a week of inconsistency. There unreliability has cost me lots of money. This company has no logistics planning to meet customer satisfaction. Bunch of loosers; scamers has better ethic.
