Angela Zayas is the best! I have two women I have met in my 50+ years that I consider to be the wisest of the women I've known and she is one of them. Angela is so easy to talk to and a therapy session with her is 50 minutes of being heard and understood. She asks thoughtful questions, gives insightful and non-judgmental ways to look at things and has guided me to greater understanding of myself, life, parenting, family, choices - everything to make me a better, more confident and happier person.

I actually started seeing Angela because when my son was nine years old he was very anxious and depressed. Before I tell the story, I should tell you that he's an introvert and shy. He was an undiagnosed dyslexic until almost the end of fourth grade and the teachers were so mean to him. They thought he was "lazy and unmotivated" and treated him as such. I'm a late-in-life mother and, trust me, I did everything I could to help him with his teachers and help him improve his reading and I kept asking if he had dyslexia and they said that it just took boys longer to learn. He scored in the 99th percentile for the gifted and talented program but they were going to put him in special ed because of his reading. I finally just took him to a neuro-psychologist and she immediately diagnosed his dyslexia but the damage had been done. I brought him to Angela and she really got him to open up and talk and helped him work through the difficult things he experienced and emotions he was feeling. It was amazing. He is such a confident and happy kid now!

I know several people who go to her practice and see other therapists and they are all so happy. Angela screens for the best therapists and matches people to the therapist she feels would best help them. This place is truly a haven and a blessing.
