Dr. Vernier was extremely helpful in a very difficult situation. My mom was admitted to SNF under his care after a broken hip, he helped us navigate through many obstacles during her time in the facility and took time to talk with me directly about her care. He was kind enough to oversee the first few weeks of home health after she was discharged from SNF while we worked on securing her new providers. Very nice doctor.

Dr. Vernier is a highly incompetent “MD” that should never be trusted with the care of your loved ones. My Dad arrived at Parc Place Medical Resort the day after he had total knee replacement. They did not have any of his medications on hand because they could not be for certain that he was really coming to the facility and they would be out of pocket for those meds if he in fact did not arrive. Instead they left him suffering in his room alone while they waited for medications to arrive at the facility from Tulsa OK (100 miles away). If they had read the discharge papers from the surgeon, they would have known all of his medications were escripted to his pharmacy in Edmond and were ready for pick up before he left the hospital. He laid crying in pain begging for something to help and was repeatedly told they could not do anything for him because the Dr. had not ordered it yet. He asked several times to speak to a Dr. or nurse and was told there were none available. Dr. Vernier never even stepped foot in his room until we arrived to take him out of the facility on Friday. (He had been there since Tuesday). He began to belittle him with insignificant questions that did not apply to anything regarding his health. It was obvious he was trying to cover his a$$. The discharge papers given to the facility had orders for physical therapy 4-5 times a week. He was there 3 full and 1 half days and saw the PT 1 time. He was prescribed a CPM (continuing passive movement) machine and it lay in the floor of his room. They brought him a bag of ice 1 time.

We live in TX and were helpless because every time we called the facility with our concerns we were told it would be taken care of immediately. I would not trust this facility or this “Dr.” with ANYONE or ANYTHING I hold dear to me. Please do your research on both before selecting this route!
