Dog food Steak Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich 0/10
Place used to have the best breakfast sandwiches. Now they literally serve dogfood. Right in the trash where it belongs.

My husband and I start our morning in this store about 5 times a week for their iconic steak egg and cheese with that special sauce. However, after what we seen this afternoon with how they treat employees, my husband and I won't be back. This place has potential but not under the current ownership. 3 stars for the great food and the family feeling we get from the kitchen staff and Al for our cigarettes. We will go to 711 and pray for a "under new ownership" sign in the near

Never again!! Have been a loyal customer for months new to Buffalo however the sandwich cook decided the customer is not always right when I attempted to explain how my previous Uber eats order was messed up she hung up and canceled my order. Get some customer service skills or continue to loose business!!!!!

This place is awesome! Every time I go in to order, or pickup, the staff is super friendly and always have a smile on their face. I just went this morning to grab a breakfast sandwich and it was super quick and great as well! This place is a hidden gem for sure

A great neighborhood one-stop shop for all your basic necessities plus a whole deli with yancey’s fancy cheeses. The subs and sandwiches are great. Everyone who works here is so kind and friendly. I love calling to make an order over the phone because the lady who makes the sandwiches is so nice. You can tell she puts love into everything she makes. The owner knows all the regulars and is always checking in when he sees me. A staple of the Elmwood village!

Breaks my heart to write this review. I’m still being very generous and giving three stars, because the breakfast sandwiches are still pretty good and I love the staff.
Elmwood Market was really close to my first apartment here in Buffalo and I’ve been a loyal customer for about six years now. My favorite was the chicken souvlaki salad. I was obsessed with it.
I ordered it last night after not having it for a while and it seems the new owners have swapped the chicken souvlaki out for pre-cooked “sous vide” chicken breast. I recognized the fake grill marks and the weird texture from a previous food service job I’d had. It might not seem like a big deal but it definitely changed the entire taste of the salad and I don’t think I’ll order it ever again. I’m very sad.
