Highly recommend Dr. Yokoyama at Dental Healing. First of all, his assistants are friendly and helpful—from booking appointments and answering all your questions to rescheduling if needed, and all the way through to billing and helping you access your past records.

After years of dealing with regular dental clinics both in the USA and abroad, going through one treatment after another, and spending thousands, I realized that some of the treatments ultimately led to needing dental implants. I decided to book an appointment with a biological dentist to find answers and healing that took into consideration my other medical issues that could impact my dental health and bones.

I diligently researched biological dentists in my area (North San Diego) but noticed that some of their services didn’t seem to align with the holistic-integrated approach they claimed to follow. That’s when I found Dr. Yokoyama in Los Angeles.
Dr. Yokoyama is very patient and knowledgeable. He takes his time to ask questions, review your health records with you, and consider how different aspects of your overall health might impact your dental health. Based on this, he recommends treatments, tests, or supplements tailored to your needs.

It’s important to note that since he doesn’t follow the standard commercial insurance approach, it’s a good idea to budget accordingly or ask about payment plans if needed.

I don't know many people, myself included, who actually like going to the dentist but Dr Yokoyama and the entire staff at Dental Healing make going to the dentist as enjoyable as it can possibly be. Every hygienist I've ever had is kind and gentle. We even manage to communicate and laugh all whilst having apparatuses in my mouth. Dare I say it's actually a rather good time.
