I shop here specifically for all my meat purchases. Always fresh, quality and cut are great. They run sales frequently. The deli salads and cole slaw are great as well.

A week ago I needed a cake to have a farewell message written on it. I went to the bakery here and they told me that their decorator was off that day. I was trying to figure out what I was going to do when the bakery staff said they found another employee who could write on the cake. She did a wonderful job and even added some sparkly sugar to the cake because I said my friend likes bling. The bakery staff went above and beyond to find someone and the lady who wrote on the cake was awesome! While I waited for the cake I went to the deli and the gentleman who waited on me was also very friendly and efficient. This store has great staff!

My husband and I stopped here once in a while when we were in the area.
No matter what time of the day the store is always clean and well stocked.
It has the best meat selection with specials of the day which are a great deal.
It's a well lit store.
There's a large free parking lot that has an easy entrance for all.
The one thing I have experienced is that the employees do not make eye contact with you, and if they do, they don't acknowledge you by saying hello, which is a basic customer service action.

You guys should show what's in the donation bags to get more people to donate. I could see in the bags a month ago and it felt really good to know I was buying some family essential foods and buying some kid fruity pebbles.

However, now they're closed, they look barely filled, and from what I could observe from the shape and weight of the bag it seems like you guys are pulling a scam to get someone to donate $5 to give someone a couple of cans and a small box. Without being able to see what's in the bag, it feels very icky like you guys are trying to profit off of donation money instead of actually wanting to help with at least the dollar amount worth of food in the bag. Very scammy feeling. No wonder why people aren't donating.

Make it feel personal. Be transparent. Actually make people feel like they're helping someone in a way that's useful. Not feeding the peasants the worst food you can find in your store. That's gross County Market.

I've shopped at this grocery store since I was a child with my parents. I'm now grown and still shop here. In my opinion I think they have the best fried chicken that Wausau has to offer, the best Pot roast too.. Oh and can't leave their green bean casserole out, delicious!!.

There were 2 cashiers. The self checkout is awful. The corn on the cob was old and rotten.
