Saw this doctor back on 7/6/2017 @ 8:30 AM due to lower back and neck pain that was impeding my mobility and range of motion. It's now Dec 2023, and I have lost most of my ability to stand and walk and live in a constant state of pain. This man had an opportunity to help me, but due to what seemed like bias and a very narrow mindset, I am much worse off. Do not trust this man with your care, especially if you are a woman and not a size 2. Hope this helps someone, because today I was very sickened when I read his notes from back then.

I had a serious spine injury which left me unable to sit, stand or walk. I required medical transport to get to my doctor visit. I saw Dr. Sachs on a Thursday and had surgery the following Tuesday. Now 10 days later I am standing and walking. While I still have months of rehab ahead I am optimistic about my future. Dr. Sachs has the prefect combination of skill and experience you would want in a spine surgeon. I know what a difficult decision it is to have back surgery. That decision is made easier when your surgeon has 40 years of experience and is training future generations of spine surgeons. I can't thank Dr. Sachs enough for giving me my life back.

He was rude. I was explaining what was wrong with me. I went to explain what previous doctor diagnosed with me with and his rude response was We're not here to talk about what another said. His whole office was unfriendly. The only nice person was the one that took my vitals. Yesterday was my first and last appointment with him. The only reason he got 1 star was because he did show up for 5 minutes.

I had back surgery 30 years ago in concord NH and haven’t had any issues with my back since my surgery. Titanium rods and fused pieces of my hip and pieces of my rib into my spine and it’s still going strong 30 years later. As far as I’m concerned he did a fantastic job.

Very unprofessional!!! The 1st visit seemed great. Went back the 2nd visit and he basically called me a LIAR! Told me I had a bulging disc on my spine then said he never said that and then wanted to argue with me in front of my children that were at my 1st visit with me and remembered he said I had a bulging disc on my spine. Very unprofessional!!! He discharged me from seeing him and said I have an shoulder issue ?. I definitely will NOT see him again

Dr. Sachs does not seem to understand chronic pain patients. I believe he has little to no knowledge about the use of opiate medication for treating chronic, intractable pain. I would not recommend him to anybody. Like another reviewer, if I could give him 0 stars I would.

One of the most unprofessional, accusatory bad drs you could EVER see.. Report him to the chair of the Department of Orthopedics USC , MUSC and Charleston Medical Society . You'll be sorry if you make an appointment with a sarcastic, unprofessional, dr who says inappropriate things!* He's a monster who has control issues.* I cried hard after I finally walked out. He "interrogated" "me about my condition and pain and more ; CHOOSE ANOTHER DR !
if you have been accused like he did me !

From the moment he began to treat my mother, he was kind, caring and professional. Explained every detail of her care, from initial consult through surgery. So thankful for his skill.
