Dr. Emily Chan is the kindest and most professional doctor I’ve been lucky enough to work with. My procedure was incredibly painful because I don’t have health insurance and couldn’t opt to go under and she took her time talking me through everything with tons of patience even working after her closing hours. Looking for a doctor can be immensely stressful, on top dealing with the reason you are even looking for a specialist. What drew me to Dr. Chan's office from the Google sea was her website. It's not "fancy" like other Manhattan doctors, but it's honest and to the point. It's a good reflection of her practice. She took the time to explain my condition and the course of care thoroughly. I felt at ease discussing my symptoms and concerns with her. There was also additional ease with the COVID safety measures taken by her practice; it was greatly appreciated. I have and would recommend Dr. Chan to be a part of your care team if you are seeking care from this specialty.

This is hands down the most caring, patient and responsible doctor I’ve ever seen in this busy city, I wish she’s my family doctor. Anyone who can book an appointment with her is lucky. Unlike many other 5 star doctors she don’t put a fake smile and say nice things but she’s damn serious about her job and she listens. She spoke broken Chinese but she made sure the patient understands everything no matter how long it takes. She is extremely helpful in regards of Covid safety, patient privacy and managing cost. Will definitely recommend her to anyone who has colon related problems.
