I was sent to Dr.Morgan at MUSC because I had a calcified herniated disc at my T9-T10, which was severely compressing my spinal cord and causing a lot of pain and numbness, so I had to have surgery. Although I was very scared at first, he and his team quickly relieved that fear. He is a wonderful Surgeon and my surgery not only went great, but all my symptoms have been relieved. The care team in the ICU was also amazing. I was treated with great care, and was never left waiting for someone when I was in pain or needed anything. I've never been treated so well in a medical facility in my life. I would very highly recommend Dr.Morgan and MUSC to anyone with neurological problems. You won't find a better surgeon or care team anywhere. I'm very grateful and blessed that I was referred to them.

Dr. Steven Morgan is a fine neurosurgeon. I had trigeminal neuralgia (TN) for over 12 years and it was becoming very chronic with pain and my meds were not so effective anymore.
After my MVD surgery on July 11, 2022 my TN was gone. I was amazed and so, so thankful.
I recommend anyone to seek the advice on TN and hopefully, the surgery from Dr. Morgan.
I would give him 100 stars if I could but certainly he deserves the highest 5 star rating.

Dr Morgan gave me great care and was very patient but unfortunately after my second surgery when I arrived early for my appointment I was first treated rudely by the nurse or assistant and she never once told me I would not be seeing him for my post op,infact she told me I would be seeing him. In walked his NP after I had sat an hour waiting she knew nothing of my history and did not care of my conerns,she told me she would ask Dr Morgan some questions for me and call me with responses, I was astounded. I KNew there was not much more Dr Morgan could do but I was no am still having issues and would just like to talk to the person that knows me without having to tell my history over again.I trusted Dr Morgan can't say the same for his other staff I would recommend him always just make sure you know wh you are following up with

I had a referral to see Dr Morgan from my orthodontist. Because of some possible nerve damage.I arrived 1half hour before my appointment and saw person who took my vitals.Than I waited for45 minutes to see dr. Morgan. Oh I forgot to say I drove for 2. 5 hours to get there. And I am 83 years old..The next person came in and ask about my condition than left the room and came back in asking more questions. says Morgan needed more info.so upon returning she said Dr Morgan said he couldn't help and ask if I needed a prescription. For what I ask.I could here her talking to the dr.Never once did the Dr come in to see someone who drove 2 5 . Hours to see him but he did not have the decency to open the door.Dont waste your time to see this person he just doesn't care except for the money. Never again will go to this place.
