Louis, the owner, knows his stuff and operates a very organized and professional auto business! Kristen provided excellent care with kindness and had the technician deliver incredible service, making the entire process smooth and efficient.

I have been a customer of this business for over 25 years. In fact I've been a customer longer than many family members were born or could drive.

Louis and his family and workers have always gone above and beyond regarding me and my family's cars. Let me cite a couple of examples .

A long time ago I was sold a car that was actually owned by nuns. About 3 weeks after I got the car I was driving in towards New York City and the engine literally died. The car was towed back and Leous was able to, two days later, get me another car to replace it at no additional charge. This car I had for about 4 years.

Louis has also extended to me credit when I have needed it. He certainly didn't have to, but he did knowing that I was good for it.

The service is always been prompt and between myself and my wife we have given them business in the tens of thousands of dollars. Between repairs, new tires, oil changes, etc, we keep coming back because we know that the integrity of service is above reproach.

I've also bought several vehicles from Lewis, and each one of them -aside from that story above - has worked out great for us and for our family. In fact we have two cars bought from J&L in our driveway right now.

I recommend J&L for all of my friends, family, and others. While there might be an isolated incident or two where things are misconstrued and otherwise emotions may run high, I have full confidence in how they handle everything for me and my family.

Horrible front desk service. BEWARE. Came in with an appointment and was meet with rude front desk staff that immediately assumed I didn't have an appointment after i said I did. My experience among others included rude commentary from the front desk employee. After my unpleasant encounter I canceled my appointment. My family has been coming her for over 25 years and I've never experienced such rude behavior. BEWARE ESPECIALLY PEOPLE OF COLOR. I also was told I was screaming and yelling when I never raised my voice. A tactic used by others to make themselves look like victims. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Lou and his daughter have treated me wonderfully. As a new widow my beloved Altima Hybrid has computer issues. They told me it was not safe to drive, and he explained ie perfectly. My regular mechanic had replaced the brakes twice after they began smoking. But J&L found the real problem. I would have bought a car from them but they did not have an appropriate vehicle. He did, however, get me in touch with Rockland Nissan, where I bought my 1st Altima. I believe I am aquiring a third. I am very grateful. Not once have I felt nervous that I am being taken advantage of
