Kim Judd was my therapist for over a decade and she was fantastic. She challenged me, listened to me, and her approach evolved over time as I grew and changed as a person. She was wonderful both in the room & administratively, working with my insurance, giving me receipts for reimbursement, sending updates, etc. I cannot recommend her enough! I already miss her (my insurance changed, or I would for sure have stayed with her longer.)

I have known Kim for several years and I have had the pleasure of being able to collaborate and consult with her professionally. Kim is an experienced therapist who is very dedicated to her clients. She is warm and compassionate and she is very knowledgeable in the counseling field and therapeutic techniques. I would highly recommend her as a helping professional and would feel very comfortable referring those close to me to see Kim for adult, adolescent, or couples counseling!

Kim is a class act and was the first therapist to help me come to terms with the severity of the PTSD I was coping with. She employs multiple types of therapy and is familiar with traditional as well as non traditional relationship scenarios.

When I came to the conclusion that I needed to see a male therapist for certain issues, she did not hesitate to recommend someone that fit the bill perfectly.

I am writing this review twenty years after having seen her and with a great deal of retroactive perspective. I appreciate her assistance in my journey.

5/5

I have been in close consultation with Kim for 19 years and I have never known a therapist to work as hard as Kim Judd on continuing education and on her own personal work. Kim's only challenge has been her insistence at taking the most challenging cases and never giving up on them. I have many partners of my clients and couples that I've referred to Kim who refuse to see anyone else. And when I am out of town Kim guest leads my groups. My trust in her and her skill as a therapist is unwavering.
Sincerely,
Katy Koonce LCSW

I have been a client of Kimberly for a little over a year now. I started seeing her after having a very bad experience with a previous therapist, whose sessions left me feeling disrespected and powerless. Working with Kimberly has been a much-needed change from that. She has a warm and empathetic style that makes me feel at ease, and I've never felt like she isn't listening or taking my experiences seriously. She's given me gentle, practical guidance on how to make my way through life, and helped me better understand the thoughts, feelings, and needs that drive me. I would definitely recommend her as a personal therapist.

My life today is not where I would like it to be and I remember over 10 years ago I would see Kim biweekly and had a group session monthly and it not only helped me to understand myself on a different level but to get a glimpse of others as well. I learned how to accept what others thought of me rather than carry the weight of someone else's opinion of me as a heavy burden. I'm calling today to reconnect with Kim because she offers insight and perspective that is non-biased and honest. Sometimes you can go several sessions without her saying more than an honest greeting and goodbye, but believe me when I tell you that's she's building a case and looking it over so that when she feels that you're ready for the heavy...BOOM! You got what you paid for and it stays with you for life. She's not the one to hire if you can't handle finding out who you really are.

Clearly she is not capable of handling crisis situations. If only we knew this before we lost our son.
