The staff here are incredibly rude. I tried to return a parcel, said hello, they didn't even speak to me, just took the parcel out of my hands, scanned the code and then threw my parcel onto the floor. Then threw the receipt onto the counter in front of them and wouldn't even hand it to me.
I definitely won't be returning here.

Lovely little shop, had a glow up! The new owners are lovely and have put a lot of time and effort into turning it around. Not quite sure what some of the recent bad reviews are about and one by stormy rainbows is clearly racially motivated. They now sell alcohol, the lighting by the tills is amazing! So much more stock and variety but the main thing being the owners are genuinely lovely.

Ever since the takeover, the shop has gotten so much more worse. The new staff is arrogant and rude, maybe if they were to spray perfume every once in a while theyd have more people coming in buying stuff. Not only the smell is bad, but the service is too. They literally buy things from other shops and sell it with a higher price. Not only that but they also refused service to my friend recently.

Some of these comments are ridiculous. I stand with the new owners, they have invested time and money into making l&s look so cool. You walk in and see the sky lights that they’ve installed, you see that they’ve invested money into a liquor license. They have much more variety of drinks and snacks.
With the old owners, I dropped a drink on the floor and they shouted at me.
With the new owners, I highly doubt that they would also shout at me.
Also to the people saying it smells, you’re so rude, and racial. I know that it smells like cooking, but what do you want them to do? Starve? Not eat all day so that you don’t have to smell their cooking? Of course not. Their cooking doesn’t even smell bad, also they used inscence sticks so it does smell nice.
Loving shop owners! Don’t listen to these rude comments.

Rude and arrogant, went to to collect a parcel "show me bar code" then dumps my parcel on the counter like a piece of junk, next time I'll go for a slightly longer walk and find a shop that knows what manners and customer service is

Well this shop has gone down hill since it's got the new owner. definitely not the same as it was before! Shame really, there wasn't many good little shops left, I won't be going in there any more!
