Tries to charge 2$ fee for a 1$ lottery ticket fire him he’s the guy who works the day and closing

I haven’t been in here since the mid seventies but I’m going to give it five stars anyways, just for longevity. My great grandmother owned a house just of Clark and Clay. My brother and I bought them longneck glass soda pop bottles in that store. Boy did they taste good in the hot Fresno sun. I remember sitting on the porch and hearing of Elvis Presley’s death. They old couple across the street hand made a raggedy Ann and Andy doll set for me. They were beautiful. Just a block or two up Clark lived a lady with a son killed in Vietnam during the war. We’re both in our early 50s now. My brother and I. Time passes so fast! Her house still sits there and looks ok but maybe not so well loved. The store that sat next to it still sits on the corner. It looks like apartments. Better than being empty like it was from the seventies until the nineties (my time and grandmas. She told me it hadn’t been open since the sixties. Lewis probably belonged to another owner back then but it’s nice to see this little store serving this neighborhood. These neighborhood stores are hard to find in California but are a wonderful thing! My grandmother drove a taxi cab in NYC during WW2 and saved money to buy her house there. Memories!

Worse place ever I slipped and feel bruised my whole bottom badly. The owner cared more about the details of the incident than that actual accident. I told him all I have to prove is their was neglect meaning Their was no wet floor sign nor did they warn me me the floor was wet. The owner started laughing and calling me a liar and didn’t care wat I had to say. He started to get physical and keep in note I’m a minor. Planning on taking them to civil court.

Simple quaint u could pass it up if u did not know where u were goin. The store is neat. And tidy yard is a bit comfortable but I guess that comes with being in such a close neighborhood.. my visit was pleasent.

I went to Elementary School two blocks away with the original Owner! It was a safe Middle Class Neighborhood then. Not anymore! Good Service in a Bad Neighborhood!

Very close to home...pretty good selection . Really like the very cold coka cola 12 packs..not to mention the hot and spicy manudo...chips...rolling papers.

Terrible Place bums outside freaking begging for money asking for chips people come up to you talkin to you acting like they know you terrible and everything's High inside the store
