The Market at Cedar Key is the only food market on the island. They have basic fruits, veggies & other pantry staples. There is a wide variety of craft beers and a large wine selection from around the world. They have made to order fresh sandwiches and pizza!
This is a great little place that represents small community and old Florida. I’ll definitely do my business here when we come back to Cedar Key. You can expect very friendly service here also!

We have purchased 3 meals to cook each night for our stay in Cedar Key, all three meals were full and satisfying meals for $100. Yeah eating out is fun but expensive, the Market is the best place to shop and food is fresh and tasty!!

*Update Sept 2024* I can not believe the damage that Hurricane Helene did to -all of Cedar Key, but seeing the images of the mural wall completely gone just broke my heart... We had just shopped there a few days prior, and as always, the people working there were just wonderful!!!
This place is great! They have alot more stuff than you would expect to be in such a small space. But the absolute highlight is the butcher/deli section. We were looking for some steaks to make for dinner, and they only had 1 ribeye out. After helping the customers ahead of us, she hand cut a few more ribeye steaks for us to choose from. I haven't seen better looking steaks anywhere else we shop! We also got some turkey sandwich meat that she recommended, and it was really good! Whenever we're in Cedar Key, this is our go to place to get dinner stuff for the whole week!

Market has higher prices, but that is expected when it's the only food market on the island. They have basic fruits, veggies & other pantry staples. I think it's the only place on the island to get hummus. Decent wine & beer selection, too.
