I had been referred to Dr Gottlock by my Northwell Health cardiologist for transgender care, but after waiting 3 months for an appointment, I was called and told that he only sees patients one day every 3 weeks, ie it is impossible to get to see him or reach him for consultation, and also that I would have to change my insurance to make him my primary care doctor before even the first appointment could be had to evaluate if he would be a good match to follow my transgender care. That is honestly absolutely crazy. I would have preferred they just have told me that he isn't accepting any new patients rather than the craziness I was presented with.

Dr. Gottlock and all of his staff I've interacted with are angels! I felt listened to, respected, understood, and well cared for. Dr. Gottlock is very thorough, listened intently, was considerate of my time, and polite as can be. Very, very good bedside manner and a pleasure to speak to!

I highly recommend Dr. Gottlock to other transgender people in the area for their health needs. A very pleasant and refreshing doctor's office.

Denise, if you're reading this, I hope your headache wasn't too bad by the end of the day with your glasses at home! You were also a pleasure to speak with! And to the ladies at the front desk, I'm sorry some of the other patients were being impatient and rude to you, you were literally all doing your best! <3

By far the best Doctor I've ever had. Not only extremely knowledgeable with explaining questions in great detail but also the kindest Doctor that treats me with the most extreme respect! I went from dreading going to see a doctor to now looking forward to going for a Doctor visit!
