Real magicians!
Some Surefoot locations think their technology replaces boot fitting (or just lack talented people to do the right thing). These guys knows the technology SUPPLEMENTS good boot fitting. After several attempts at fixing my problem, they re-did the liner from the scratch - of course for free, as Surefoot always promises! It solved a very painful issue I had after my initial fitting at a different location.
And by the way, these are the nicest, most charming people in the business!

Fantastic all-around experience! My wife and I bought our boots from Surefoot Val d'Isere. I highly recommend this if you are in need of boots (or if your current boots are uncomfortable). Tony and Mark were very accommodating, and both of our boots fit like a glove after the first try.

I broke my hip just four days after getting these new boots last year (nothing to do with the boots!). Upon returning to the skis, hip all healed up, my boots just didn’t feel right on the slopes. I didn’t feel in control of my skis and I couldn’t explain why. I wasn’t even sure if it was a problem with my head or the boots - my confidence was low after the accident. Tony and Mark listened to me patiently for two evenings in a row, asked me probing questions, taking me seriously even though I openly told them that it might just be all in my head. When I finally said something that made sense to them (too tight at the top and still moving around in the bottom) they checked the liner and found that it was indeed thinner than it should have been around the foot and immediately fitted me a new one for free. I just skied with the boots for a solid week and they are so good now; firm but comfortable, don’t need constantly adjusting and are also much warmer too! I want to thank Tony and Mark for their kindness and understanding in helping me get to the bottom of the problem and would fully recommend that anyone head to Surefoot Val d’Isere if they need new boots.
