Nothing but honest, clear and open communication making this process a breeze. My loan officer was so easy to work with and was so responsive. Her knowledge of my situation and of my VA benefits made the process that much easier to understand and follow. Highly recommend this company and the officer I had the honor to work with. The best by far

I Contacted The Federal Savings Bank hoping to refinance and take equity out to restore the back yard of my home. (Peter and his team) were very efficient and knowledgeable. The entire process was very smooth I got the Loan refinanced and got exactly what needed to restore the back yard. Thanks to Peter and his team I have increased the value of my home, and have a functioning back yard once more. I would highly recommend Peter and his team for others with banking needs

We had a terrible experience with this bank and now are unfortunately locked in for awhile. My husband and I actually were worried we got scammed and that it wasn’t a a legitimate company. You would think Communication and clarity would be the biggest priorities for clients who are doing this for the first time.
We were ghosted by our agent shortly after agreeing to the loan and had to rely on another agent not even assigned to us to provide clear communication and guidance throughout the process until it was finalized. Unfortunately Wouldn’t ever recommend to any veteran family or friends.

Certified Demand For Payment Sent to the branch 1. Thomas Fisher, Assistant Senior Vice President 2.Peter Hallopoff, Mortgage Banker . Certified Mail returned "No One Authorized to Accept" 2nd Demand Letter Mailed
No one answered the designated business phone
My business was unsolicited bottle electronically and telephonically. I i wanted the numbers as a home owner and disabled veteran o was inquiring about refinance.
I was charged $495.00 for Up-front Prepaid Closing Cost" I didn't even sign up for a home lone or refinance and I am 3 months later not able to resolve this problem.

Veterans and Home Owners stear Clear.

Do your research.

Chris horn VP couldn’t be more cocky and disrespectful. Thinks he’s a big shot and surprised he gets any business. If you have any questions he will tell you he’s right and thinks he’s a hot shot. If I could give 0 I would.

We were going to use them but as the weeks passed something changed each time we spoke. First the loan amount was decreased- but not the monthly payment. Then we were told that projects that we started before appraisal wouldn’t effect anything- nope gotta be finished for the appraisal to be done, then they tried to say what bills were would pay with our equity. My husband called and told them that we would not be doing the loan due to family issues which was true- I needed to leave the state to take care of my mom. While I was gone we were approach by another loan company that offered better financing $10000 less in loan fees and they were not pushy. So we agreed to go with the new company. Brandon from Federal Savings then got mad and sent us a text which we ignored - we already told him we were done. The less the 24 hours later he felt that it was professional to call us cowards.yeah we won’t be dealing with them ever!

Chris Davis was my loan officer. He was very noblegible and he made this transaction very smooth and painless. He literally, via text and email, held my hand the entire way. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood what was happening and to make sure my closing, my consolidation, and experience was seamless.

Cold called me to offer sub-par rates, and when all is said and done I'm now receiving 30+ spam calls a day. Gave my number up to a list or two. Avoid

(Edit for response below)
What would contacting your customer service possibly do for me? I'm still getting between 10-30 spam/scam calls a day after submitting my information to you. Whereas prior to that time I would be getting none. It's not like you can fix it now. And you won't be able to offer me better rates. ?
