Unfortunately, I have had a few encounters with Dr. Swain in the urgent care setting for my children as well as other specialist appointments. Please ensure you are knowledgeable in your patient rights, as well as, what is viewed as ethical and unethical from a medical provider.

I will always see a friendly face when entering the praxis. Wait time are reasonable and staff is very friendly. Dr Swain treats me professionally and answers all my questions. He does not rush me off.

I like Dr. Swain alot because he has compassion understands what your needs are. He is respectful and straight up able to connect . He always comes through if you need a referral.
The Nurses and staff are super nice .the only reason I gave 4 Stars is not bad but Dr. Swain is a very tall big man, while he is talking to you he does not sit anywhere, he stands up. you sit in the chair looking up at him it is a bit uncomfortable and you can't hardly see him all you see is his beard because you feel so small.
But he is a great Doctor.

I made an appointment for an EMERGENCY appointment for the next day. The receptionist the next day after driving from Copperas Cove I was told my insurance could not be found. I have had the same insurance for over 15 yrs With Dr. Swain. So I had to call 211. Busy line..no answer. First time ever. I will never use him again and I advice people to do the same

First off I call and am on hold for 4 minutes, ask if to move my appointment up. Tell her I'm a new patient and the tone of her voice changed and a pleasant change. She says he's booked out and I can't change. Great impression for a was going to be new patient.

Dr. Swain has a very relaxed atmosphere at his office so not only do you feel your getting good healthcare but you feel like your getting it from a friend. I have been coming to Dr. Swain for probably at least 7-8 years and I enjoy our visits. He has a great bedside manner because I worked in healthcare years ago and I know doc’s that don’t he is not one of those jerks! Dr. Swain goes out of his way to help you out in anyway he can. I could go to a physician closer to where I live but I wouldn’t get the personal touch he affords me.
